Ghent and Bruges are among the finest historic cities in Flanders, and from Antwerp you can easily see both in one day. By train you're tied to the timetable, and in both cities the station is a long walk or a tram ride from the old centre. By car you have to find parking twice, in city centres that are largely car-free. By taxi, you get in at your front door, get out at the edge of the old town, and we pick you up again when you're ready.

What your day could look like

An example: you choose the start time and how long you stay in each city.

• 9:00 – We pick you up at your address in Antwerp.
• ± 10:00 – Ghent: Graslei, Korenlei and Gravensteen Castle.
• ± 13:30 – On to Bruges, about 45 minutes' drive.
• ± 14:30 – Bruges: the Markt, Rozenhoedkaai and Minnewater.
• ± 18:00 – Back to Antwerp, home by about 19:15.

Morning: Ghent

Ghent is lively and compact. Walk along the Graslei and Korenlei, where the old guild houses line the water, then cross to Gravensteen, the medieval castle right in the middle of the city. From St Michael's Bridge you can see the three towers in a row: St Nicholas' Church, the Belfry and St Bavo's Cathedral. Time to spare? A boat trip on the Leie shows you the city from the water.

Afternoon: Bruges

After lunch we drive on to Bruges. Start at the Markt with its colourful façades and Belfry, stroll to the Rozenhoedkaai, the most photographed spot in town, and finish quietly at the Minnewater, the Lake of Love. The centre is largely car-free, so we drop you off and pick you up at the edge of the old town, at a spot we agree together.

Rather start with Bruges?

No problem. Start in Bruges, the furthest away, and finish in Ghent. The drive home is shorter, which is handy if you want to have dinner in Ghent.

Yes. Ask for your price on WhatsApp; we also do single and return rides to Bruges.

There are more than four of us. Is that possible?

Yes, up to eight people with our two cars. For larger groups, price on request.

Can I pay by card?

Yes, cash or card in the car. Companies receive an invoice.
